1834 Beautiful General Lafayette - Silk Mourning Ribbon

Description

This is for an engraved 1834 silk mourning ribbon commemorating the death of General Lafayette.  A rare ribbon in honor of this hero of the American Revolutionary War.
Black printing with the following features:
A banner reading:  " Our Nations Guest" rising from a winged bald eagle carrying the US Shield
Portait of Lafayette within a shroud leaves and bounded by the US flag, cannons and cannonballs at the bottom.
Lafayette name and note at the bottom with the address where the ribbon was sold by J Yeager
The ribbon is in great condition, with minor folds.
