    Description

18th -19th Century British Made Trade Pipe Tomahawk
This tomahawk dated from 18th to 19th Century made in Britain for trade with the Native American Indians.
The axe is in overall good condition, the shaft may be a later replacement is old and marked.
The head of the axe is currently not yet positioned to be used to smoke through, this is probably since this would be done once they were traded with the natives. I imagine they had their own techniques and methods for doing this.
The axe head itself is also marked with British broad arrow.
An interesting piece for entry collectors of Native American, this also shows the importance of trade and how these objects where highly sought after as they were not just a weapon but where also used for utility and recreation.
