1950s Vintage International Sterling Silver La Paglia Oval Blossom Bowl/Dish

Presented is a wonderful sterling silver oval footed bowl or dish. This piece was designed by Alphonse La Paglia and made by International Silver Co, and dates to around the 1950s. The bowl is done in a sleek oval form with decorative blossom-like designs around the rim, similar to works in the Blossom pattern by Georg Jensen. The dish is very stylish and attractive, especially if you like Danish style silver. This is a very high quality, well constructed piece, made from thick, heavy gauge sterling silver.
The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for International, as well as "La Paglia Designed"
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The bowl measures about 10 1/2 by 7 3/8 by 3 inches, LxWxH.
This piece weighs 1014 grams or 35.8 regular ounces.
