Matching Pair of Reed & Barton Number N384 Solid Sterling Silver Two Handle Pedestal Condiment/Caviar/Shrimp Serving Dishes.
Each Hallmarked on the bottom with “Eagle R Lion” (Period Correct Hallmark for Reed & Barton) above “Sterling” above the alpha numeric “N384” there are no monograms or engravings.  They each stand 2 1/2 inches tall base to rim, 2 15/16 inches base to handle top, with a top rim diameter of 4 1/4 inches and a base rim diameter 2 7/16 inches high, the span handle tip to handle tip is 5 3/8 inches. One of the pieces weighs 82.1 grams and the other weighs 86.3 grams for a combined weight of 168.4 grams of solid sterling silver.
There is moderate to heavy tarnish and minor scratches, but there are no noticeable dents or dings on one piece and minor outer base rim deformation on the other.
Guaranteed to be SOLID Sterling Silver (aka 925/1000 or .925) defined as 925 parts of pure silver to 75 parts of other metal (usually copper) per 1000 parts of material!

Weights are to the nearest tenth gram/five hundredths ozt, each item has been individually weighed on two different recently calibrated scales.  Multiple item listings have also been weighed to provide photo showing combined weight. I am not in a rush to receive payment. If as a buyer/bidder, you wish to delay payment for up to 30 days in order to take advantage of combined shipping at reduced cost, please let me know.  The maximum amount of time I will wait for payment is 30 days and I will invoice on the 28th day of the first item purchased, if buyer has not yet requested an invoice.  There are certain postal break points that make economic sense for both the buyer and seller.  With silver weight is never the issue after 15 ounces has been exceeded, but volume is, so breakpoints are in volume of priority flat rate mailers (small, medium, large fixed rate priority and regional A & B). After these volume limits are exceeded USPS, UPS and FED EX have about the same rates on ground shipping, but package delivery takes longer than priority mail.
Combined shipping is provided at reduced rate on multiple item purchases, but you must request an invoice total before paying. Items will be packaged well to prevent damage during shipment. In the off chance that your shipment is received damaged, please notify me immediately upon receipt by providing photos of the shipment as received and of any damaged item.  Please retain all packaging material until damage claim is settled.
I have sold my large Victorian home and have downsized to a much smaller place.  Therefore, over the next few months, I will be selling my large sterling silver collection at true auction with bids starting at {{detail_product_description}}.99, no reserve.  My silver is in storage, so I plan to go the storage site and grab a box or two for listing.  As those items sell, I will get another box or two and repeat.  I plan to list 3 or 4 items per day until my collection is liquidated. If I run out of storage room on listed/sold items I will have to slow down listings, but I feel payment within 30 days is most likely the sweet spot for successfully accomplishing this project.
