The SD4 was designed by jazz great Bill Bruford. It's extremely long taper allows for the ultimate response. The small barrel tip provides exceptional ride cymbal articulation.
Maple is a very light wood which allows for a large diameter stick without the weight. Small sticks are ultra light for precision and subtlety.
