    THE HANDLE IS WOOD WITH BRASS INSERTED RIVET CAPS AND INTERESTING WHITE METAL CROWN. BOLSTERS ARE OF STEEL. BLADE IS SINGLE EDGED OF BOWIE KNIFE FORM AND HAS SERTAIN FLEXIBILITY FOR SKINNING AN ANIMAL. SCABBARD IS OLD ORIGINAL LEATHER. CONDITION IS FAIR WITH AGE WEAR AND PATINA, BLADE AND GRIP ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1830s - 1860s.
