    Description

    This light fixture measures about 11" tall. Comes with a 3" mounting flange. Thick heavy glass that has turned purple. See in the photos where the glass is still clear where the fixture covered the glass. It is marked TAPLET 4475 in raised letters on the glass. It is marked Paiste 4471 on the brass fixture and on the ceramic piece that holds the light inside. Displays exceptionally nice. This is an early fixture in about 1910 manganese was not being used in clear glass making any longer manganese was what causes the glass to turn purple.
