    Description

    This appears to be cut from a 19th century envelope or letterhead, but it's a wonderful image for the 17th Duke of Cambridge's Lancers. Shows four crossed lances, death head, "Or Glory", and battle honors across the top. Measures 2 1/4 x 1 3/4.
    It was common for collectors in the late 1800s to simply clip the image they wanted rather than keep an entire page or document. It could also have been for a scrapbook, however there's no evidence of glue on the reverse. Nevertheless it's a neat image from a famous regiment.
