Description

Presented is a wonderful quality sterling silver double handled bowl or sugar basket, by Gorham. The bowl is done in a very elegant and simple style, with a decorative border around the rim and palmettes where the handles attach. The interior is clean and completely useable. This may have been part of a tea service, or just an individual piece. This is a very well made and high quality piece of silver and would be an asset to any home or collection.
The underside of the base is stamped with the Gorham hallmark, sterling, and a date letter G for 1874.
The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The bowl stands 4 1/4 inches tall and has a diameter of 3 1/4 inches.
The bowl weighs 311.0 grams.
