Exuberantly romantic sterling silver heart bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1948. Solid well; curved and tapering sides with chased scrolls and ribbon bows, and pierced circles and quatrefoils. Irregular rim with scrolls, leaves, and flowers. Rests on 3 ball supports. Fully marked including maker's stamp, date code, and no. 965.
