    Description

    Elegant sterling silver swan boat bowl. Made by Durgin (part of Gorham) in Concord in 1928. Tubular with wraparound ribbing. At ends are mounted bird busts with s-scroll neck and plumy wings. Interior gilt washed. Gilt silver-plated frog with irregular scrolls. Graceful and capacious. Holds flowers and treats. Fully marked including Gorham and Durgin stamps, date symbol, and no. 333. Frog marked "333 / Electro-plate".
