    Description

    Presented is a wonderful quality sterling silver pedestal bowl made by the Gorham Manufacturing Company. This large center piece bowl has beautiful pierced work around the rim in the form of realistically engraved chrysanthemums or other flowers, you decide what flowers they are. The center of the bowl is monogrammed with TBG in an elegant script. The bowl is exceptionally well made and has good weight.
    The underside of the bowl is marked with Gorham’s old company hallmarks, Sterling, the product number 869L, and A. Stowell & Co. for the retailer. This bowl was made in the early 1900s, almost certainly the first quarter of the 1900s.
    The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. Like the day it was made.
    The bowl measures 12 inches in diameter and 3 3/4 inches tall.
    The weight is 730 grams or 25.5 ounces.
