Pair Vintage F. Whiting Sterling Silver Candle Holder/Candy Dish - 5-1/2" tall

I have two sets of Sterling dishes....this is the smaller pair.
The pieces serve as candlesticks when the glass is unscrewed from the sterling base
or
as a candy dish when attached.
Each base is weighted sterling weighing 8 ounces on a conventional scale.  The bottom is marked:  Sterling by Frank M. Whiting, Weighted an Re-enforced 2000
The glass looks like a ruffled pressed glass and is 5-1/2 to- 5-3/4" in diameter
Condition:
One is in excellent condition, minor marks to silver, no chips or cracks in glass
One is in very good condition, with a mark to the silver candlestick per the photo.  The glass piece on this one doesn't screw in tightly.  If used as a bowl, using precautions with some adhesive would be good.  (Plumbers tape tightens it up well if you prefer to use as a bowl.)
