Description

Antique Prussian Model 1864 Faschinenmesser Artillery Short Sword. Overall length is 22-1/4" overall with a blade length of 17-1/8". Blade shows some age patina, with scattered pitting. Ricasso area of blade marked, "SOLINGEN" with opposite marked with makers mark of , F. Rulch or Roach? Blade and handle all tight with no looseness. S shaped cross-guard marked, "92R 10 55" with a cartouche in the center area. Bird head style pommel end with all brass handle. Top of handle shows some scattered tiny dings. No Scabbard.
