    Description

Up for auction is this Antique Lolli Pop Making Machine made by Racine Confectioners Machinery Co. The name plate reads,
MADE IN U.S.A. BY RACINE CONFECTIONERS MACHINERY CO. RACINE, WISCONSIN, U.S.A.  NO.738  SIZE S1
Machine is made from Cast Iron and Brass. The Lolli Pop embossed Drums are Chrome Plated Brass. Condition of machine is great, Drums turn freely and all fasteners are free (machine comes apart to move) Very Heavy. The base or (legs) is cast iron and is welded in two places. Also, it appears the legs were longer at one point.  Apparently this is the first patented Mass Production Lolli Pop Machine!! Picture #7 provides some machine history from the Racine Historical Society. Also, there was a legal battle with another California based candy company claiming also to be the first to invent the Lolli Pop machine. Any additional History and or information provided would be greatly appreciated. Please review pictures and contact with any questions or concerns. For freight shipping and or possible delivery, contact prior to auction end to discuss. Thank You for Looking, Good Luck Bidding!
