This is a wonderful hard to find Sterling Silver Bowl made by Reed and Barton. From my research the pattern of the bowl seems to be “Grapevine”. I have seen only one other piece in this pattern. The Reed and Barton site doesn’t show the pattern and Replacements has just one piece in the pattern with very little information. The one piece shows the pattern to be between 1900 and 1920 but I really don’t have more confirmed information than that. Finding information on this Reed and Barton pattern is very difficult. The bowl measures about 9 5/8 inches across at the widest point and about 2 inches deep measuring from the tallest point on the rim to the bottom. Total weight is 345 grams. The bottom is marked as shown with the Reed and Barton mark, Sterling and 700. It is in very nice condition with just very minor light scratches to the surface. No monogram. Buyer pays a fixed shipping cost that includes insurance. No reserve.
