Superb Antique American Sterling Silver Grape Cluster Design Bowl
Presented is a lovely American sterling silver bowl. The bowl is done in an elegant octagonal form with a bold applied design of grape clusters and leaves at intervals around the side. The grape design is very detailed and well done, with a lot of texture and intricacy, even down to the little spiral vines. The center of the bowl has a monogram of AFH in flowing script.
This piece is stamped on the underside with sterling and the number 2487.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The bowl measures about 9 ½ inches in diameter and stands about 1 ¾ inches tall.
The bowl weighs 327 grams or 11.5 regular ounces.
