    Description
    Swiss Model 1842/75 Sharshooter's Short Sword. These swords were carried by Swiss Infantry Sharpshooters.  Wood (ebony) grips fastened by three raised brass rivets. Blade is straight with spear-point tip, ~6" false-edge; blade length is ~20-5/8".  Blade is stamped on ricasso, "A. BRAST" over "AARAU". Regimental markings on the mounts. Scabbard is brass mounted black leather.  Overall length in scabbard is around 26-5/8". Blade with some minimal pitting toward the tip. Some scratches to the mounts and scabbard surface. Few light dents to the scabbard mounts. Chip on the handle.  Please refer to images to see condition and ask questions. Good  original condition
