Taiwanese postage stamps is on the space flown personal letter.

Space Mail Letter
regarded to Expedition 49/50 mission aboard the
International Space Station
was delivered to the Space Station by the Russian “Progress MS-05” unmanned supply spacecraft.
First, on October 25, 2016, the letter was sent by registered mail from the “PHILATAIPEI-2016” World philatelic exhibition to Russia. Then the letter was handed over to be put into the “Progress MS-05” spacecraft. Having been delivered to the ISS, the letter was marked with the following seals: the “
Russian Post.

dated February 24, 2017, the day when “Progress MS-05” spacecraft docked with the ISS; the “
ISS
” octagonal board seal.
During that mission, the addressees, Expedition 49/50 crew worked aboard the space station since October 21, 2016 till April 10, 2017.
So, this letter is a real document of the “Earth to Space” postal communication and may considered to be as an example of the modern postal history.
The space flown personal letters with handwritten message inside are rather rare philatelic material.

The registered mail from Taiwan to Russia was paid by Taiwanese (Chunghwa Post) postage stamps including the complete set of 4 stamps devoted to
Teresa Teng
. She was known as a “patriot performing artist,” “the military’s sweetheart,” and “the queen of her generation’s singers.”
She was o
ne of the true superstars of the Asian singing world in the last half of the 20th century.
Only 2 space mail letters with such a complete Teresa Teng set exist.
