Tinted Daguerreotype Young Soldier Cadet In Wall Frame French Photographer 1850s

Description

Great 1850s quarter-plate daguerreotype of a young cadet, tinted blue tablecloth. In its original wall frame, with original label on the back. Underside of the glass needs to be cleaned and there is a repaired crack in the cover glass, bottom-left corner.. the dag has tarnish, but looks to be in excellent condition and the details are very good. The frame is 7" x 5.75".
