Very fine steel facetted English or Russian small sword ca. 1780/1800

Description

Hilt made of facetted and polished steel. In a very delicate way also decorated with gilt brass. I know these types from the famous Bolton maker in London or also Russian (Tula) works. 3-sided etched blade. Typical for the time 1780 to 1800. Total length of 39 inches (99 cm), blade length 32 1/2 inches (82,5 cm), blade width 4/5 inches (2,0 cm).
A very fine English or Russian smallsword / court sword. Great quality!
