Vintage 1980s Andrew Feldman Timpani Mallets, red, medium hard, bamboo handles

Here is a very hard to find pair of VINTAGE 1980s Andrew Feldman Timpani Mallets, red, medium hard, with bamboo handles.
One mallet has a hairline crack
from the mallet head to the first joint in the bamboo. Please see the photo. I don't know if it could not be glued. It is very thin and makes no sound that I can tell but my ears are not as good as when I was young. That same mallet has a dark scar marking that curves a bit but does not seem to be a crack.
The mallets are not perfectly straight and have a very slight warp.
The mallets are 16-1/4" in length, shafts are approx. 5/8" and mallet head is 7/8" long and 1" in diameter
