    Description

    This is an advertising item put out by the
    JACK NOURSE OIL COMPANY
    of Kansas City and Omaha to advertise their products. It is a rectangular block of wood that is 9/16" on two sides and 1 3/8" long. There is a lead top which is held in place by a nail that goes thru the block. When you put pressure on the lead piece and twist it a noise emanates from the combination which sounds like a high pitched squeak. I suppose the squeak was to remind you to use their oils. There is advertising printed on the four side as follows: 1) JACK NOURSE OIL CO. KANSAS CITY - OMAHA 2) QUALITY TRACTOR OIL "Business Is Good" 3) PENN POWER MOTOR OIL 4) THE OILS WITH THE BALL BEARING BASE.
