Modification Description: back of cabinet was missing 2 thin pieces of wood, one at top, one at bottom. 2 small pieces were added and glued. See photos of these 2 specific areas.

Condition: Vintage Japan Wooden Sewing cabinet With Notions Drawers and decorative Painted Flowers. The Drawers do not stay tightly closed. They rather loosely slide in and out. Note that the vertical back of the cabinet was missing 2 thin pieces of wood, one at top, one at bottom(about 1/3" from the top and from the bottom). 2 small pieces of wood were carefully added and glued. See photos of these 2 specific areas. The Pins drawer has a natural crack in the bottom of the drawer in the bottom wood panel. There is also a small chip in the wood at the base of the right side of the cabinet. In the photos, it would be on the left to the left of hte "snaps" drawer on the side. It is very sturdy and has likely been like this for many years. In very nice restored condition from a non-smoking home.See photos for complete description and condition of the item. Vintage Japan Wooden Sewing cabinet With Notions Drawers and decorative Painted Flowers. The cabinet measures approximately 8.75" tall at it's tallest at the center and about 6" wide and 3.5" deep. The Drawers do not stay tightly closed. They rather loosely slide in and out. Note that the vertical back of the cabinet was missing 2 thin pieces of wood, one at top, one at bottom(about 1/3" from the top and from the bottom). 2 small pieces of wood were carefully added and glued.
