This button most closely matched GI.70.B but it is definitely different. Most telling, the middle arrow faces out horizontally instead of angled downwards, the Eagle is also facing right perfectly horizontally, and the ‘S’ of ‘US’ has horizontal lines throughout (best seen zoomed in from my pictures).
It is a solid 1-piece button with the ‘United States’ backmark. A must rare variant. Note pictures from book shown are for reference only and not included in auction.
